I hope you are all ok even though weather has gone a bit chilly - the sun will be back soon!
This week's activities are entitled 'Famous and Significant People'. You can choose what you do and how much. It will be an interesting topic with lots of opportunities to find out about people who have done some amazing things.

It's 'Sport's Week' this week so the Home Learning activities will need you to be active and sporty. Remember to have fun and post your sportiness on our class blog.
From Mr Maunder & Beryl.
I hope you have all had a lovely half term (whatever that means)! Here is your plan of activities for this week. The theme is Under the Sea. Feel free to take the theme in whatever direction suits you and your family. I hope you have lots of fun and look forward to seeing what you've been up to on the blog!
Mr Maunder and Beryl xx
Here is your home learning plan for the next week on the theme of food. Just writing it has actually made me feel a bit hungry! I hope you enjoy these fun learning activities together. Remember, to use as much or as little of the plan as you wish - it's just a guide and there is no pressure from us. You all have different family circumstances but are all doing a fantastic job so keep positive, keep happy and enjoy spending time with your children. I am missing them greatly!
See you soon,
Mr Maunder and Beryl xx
Here is your plan of activities for this week on the theme of Environments. Remember, this plan is just a guide - use it as you wish and do whatever works best for you and your family. You don't have to do all of it, they are just suggestions.
As always, if you have any questions or queries don't hesitate to get in touch.
I am missing you all and looking forward to seeing you all again as soon as it's safe to come back to school.
Look after yourselves.

The theme for this week is 'Animals'. There is a range of activites for you to choose from but remember these are suggested activities - you don't have to do them all. Please use them as a guide and remember to do whatever works for you, your children and the circumstances you are in.
If you need any further help or advice with anything, please don't hesitate to get in touch. You can email me at email@example.com, or alternatively telephone the school. Somebody is there every weekday.
Today I have allocated everyone some more books on Reading Planet Online. It's good to see that lots of you are accessing these. They are exactly the same books as the new reading scheme in school but with the added bonus of a quiz at the end! If you have any problems accessing these please let me know.
It's great to see what your children have been doing at home through the Reception Blog on Purple Mash so please keep uploading on there if you want to. I aim to put something on the blog each day that is related to the activities on the plan for that day.
Keep safe, keep happy and remember you are all great and doing the best you can!
Here is our plan of activities for Reception for next week - the theme is "Where I live" - which is a theme we would have been covering this half term anyway. Even though you can't leave the house, you will see there's still plenty you can do!
Remember these are suggested activities - you don't have to do them all - please use them as a guide and remember to do whatever works for you, your children and the circumstances you are in!
Have fun, keep checking the Reception blog page on purple mash and if you have any questions please do get in touch. I will be ringing most of you this week anyway just to check that you are all doing ok.
Have a good week,
Mr Maunder, oh and Beryl of course! xxx
Here is the Jolly Phonics sound card which the children use to help them remember how to write each sound when they are writing. Also attached are the letter formation rhymes and pictures.
Below is a link to our class blog.
I want to encourage all Reception class families to use this as a way of keeping in touch with us and sharing your learning. I will be adding posts regularly too - hopefully - once I get the hang of it!
Look after yourselves and keep in touch. Mr M.
Here are some ideas of things you can be doing this week. Please do as much or as little as is right for you. Keep posting your fun activities on our blog so everyone can see how busy we have been!
Love Mr Maunder
