Collective Worship
Collective Worship
Collective Worship is an integral part of our daily school life at Lancaster Christ Church. It is an opportunity for us to meet together as a school family to explore the Christian faith and the teachings of Jesus.
Our worship sessions reflect the Christian character of our school, drawing inspiration primarily from the Bible, with teachings predominantly derived from the Christian tradition.
Through worship, we aim to nurture a deep sense of spiritual connection and understanding among both children and adults, guiding them on a journey of faith and reflection.
We focus on key Christian values, and how we can apply these within our own lives.
Our timetable for Worship is as follows:
Monday | Whole school Worship |
Tuesday | Whole school Reflection and Praise |
Wednesday | Whole school Worship |
Thursday | Class Worship / Key stage Worship or Worship team led whole school Worship |
Friday | Whole school Celebration Assembly |
As well as worshipping together in school, we regularly visit Christ Church Church to participate in services throughout the year:
